Never Stop Learning

This season was my second season as a ski instructor at my local ski hill. Becoming a ski instructor changed my life in so many ways. It is so nice to work with people who share my passion for skiing as well as having the opportunity to pass it onto others. I have created friends and relationships that will last a lifetime and gone on amazing trips I otherwise wouldn't have gotten to go on. I improved my communication and problem solving skills, as well as becoming a more confident skier and individual. I pursued certification through Professional Ski Instructors of America and received my Level One pin in March of 2018. By working with PSIA and veteran instructors I have learned so much more about the sport, and my skiing has improved a lot. I am really proud to have earned my pin and I plan to keep working my way through the certification ladder. My goal is to reach Level Two in the coming years. Each time I have a great run or learn a new teaching technique, I feel like I am becoming one with my goal. #beonewithyourgoal
